Indahnya Kehidupan: What We Truly Need Is Something “Unreachable”

From now on, in this blog I’ll try to write some articles by English as long as I can, and as long as the readers understand what I write. If you’re not good in English, don’t worry, because I’m not good too. We learn and learn… until we think that we can write English properly. I’m sure you can… and I’m sure I’m proper for it.
Okay, what’s the topic? Hmmm, Something “Unreachable”…
Lets start with some analogy… do you ever see some mangoes hanging above you on the tree. The mangoes are so ripe and good looking… very sweet maybe. At that time you haven’t eaten mangoes for a long time, and you’ll think that now is the right time to eat them all. What will you do…? I think you will pick them and eat it as soon as possible
What will happen if you just realized you are not high enough to pick the mangoes by yourself? Or actually the tree is very high that no one can climb it to pick it?
If you’re a child… you will come home and cry. Ask to your parents to buy some mangoes and hope that the mangoes will come in your hug soon. After that you eat it happily together with your family.
Now I’ll ask you… in that story, what "thing" do you really want? The mangoes…. Or the satisfaction you will get after you eat the mangoes.
People bet by his own life to get something abstract, a satisfaction. They kill their own race, giving something valuable, eating, stealing and what we do now (reading, playing, studying, or whatever) is to reach a level that we are unwilling to do it anymore, or the other words we are satisfied.
Satisfaction go wherever “he” wants. Today he is come, tomorrow he is gone. Maybe he goes to a steep cliff, or sometimes he goes to a nice place. But surprisingly, most of us still following “him” when he goes to a dangerous cliff. And of course the people who follow him fall into the cliff.
What we truly need is something “unreachable” because in the fact we never get it permanently. We follow him as long as we realize that the satisfaction didn’t go to a dangerous place which maybe can kill us soon. But only a little know when he allowed to follow and when he isn’t allowed to follow.
